Fluting Project

Here is how I spent my Friday night.

7 hours of hand sewing..

This whole bodice is hand sewn.. and all the strips are bias cut, which basically equals... LOTS of TIME. Also here is the French Lining from a few weeks back, it is HORRIBLY sewn on the inside, please don't examine too hard! The inside of the french lining has strips of boning sewn in which allows the strapless dress to stay up! Basically the whole dress isn't due until after our huge Valentino term garment is due, so the finished product won't be up until May. Here is what I have though.
Eventually there will be a skirt attached to the fluted bodice (the first picture) which will then be attached to the French Lining (above picture) which will give the dress support to stay on the body when worn.
